  • Out There Winnipeg is dedicated to providing an inclusive, accessible, and safer space for 2SLGBTQIA+ adults to meet, socialize, be active, and have fun!

  • This acronym represents Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual, and additional people who identify as part of sexual and gender diverse communities. The “2S” at the front recognizes Two-Spirit people as the first 2SLGBTQIA+ communities on Turtle Island.

  • In order to adhere to our mission of providing a safer place for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community of Winnipeg, our activities and events are specifically focused on providing a safer space to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

  • Some activities have minimal fees for participation. Check out the activities page for fee information. In addition to required fees, a $1-3 donation to Out There Winnipeg is appreciated.

  • We’d love to hear from you! Fill out a volunteer application form and we’ll get back to you ASAP.

  • No. Out There Winnipeg is a volunteer-run organization that operates solely on donations and the graciousness of our generous volunteers.

  • Some Out There Winnipeg events require participants to sign waivers in order to protect the organization and organizers from liability if anyone is injured or experience any harm during their time with Out There Winnipeg. These waivers could be provided by Out There Winnipeg, or by third-party companies/organizations. For example, if Gaymers host an activity at an escape room, participants are required to sign a waiver provided by the escape room.
