URBAN WALK
ASSINIBOINE FOREST & SARGENT SUNDAE
Join Out There this Saturday, April 26th for a walk around Assiniboine Forest that concludes with a sweet treat at the iconic Sargent Sundae.
MEETING POINT/TIME: We will be meeting on the North side of the Assiniboine Park foot bridge (corner of Portage and Overdale). We will meet starting at 1:45, with a planned 2pm departure.
PLANNED ROUTE: We will travel south through Assiniboine Park, before crossing Roblin and continuing along the parkway to the forest. After a scenic loop through the forest, we will head back north and end our walk at Sargent Sundae were a sweet treat awaits for those interested.
Expect a walk between 6 and 7 km taking roughly 2 hours.
REGISTRATION?: None needed. Simply meet us at the bridge before 2pm.
BUS/PARKING: Buses run regularly in both directions down Portage Ave. Residential parking can be found on the streets parallel to Overdale.
COST: A loonie donation to Out There is requested. Sargent Sundae takes cash and debit.
GUESTS: This is a 2SLGBTQIA+ event. Guests should be allies or community members.
DOGS?: Provided they stay on leash and can match our pace, dogs are welcome.

MEETING POINT/TIME: We will be meeting at The Forks, in front of Johnston's Terminal (25 FCorks Market Rd.) starting at 1:45, before a planned 2pm departure.
REGISTRATION?: None needed. Simply meet us in front of Johnston's Terminal before 2pm.
BUS/PARKING: There are buses that enter the Forks, or one get off at and walk from Main St. There is paid parking at The Forks, or one can look for free street parking in the area.
COST: A loonie donation to Out There. We may also want to pop in for a hot beverage along the route.
GUESTS: This is a 2SLGBTQIA+ event. Guests should be allies or community members.

KARAOKE NIGHT
Join Out There on the evening of Saturday, March 29th for a fun night of singing and laughs at Limelight Karaoke Bar (531 St. Mary's).
TIME: We will meet beginning at 7pm allowing time for drinks/snacks before the singing starts.
SKILL LEVEL: All singing abilities are welcome.
COST: There is a $5 fee at the door with a mandatory $1 coat check. Food and beverages at additional cost. ** ID's will be checked at the door.

Badminton
After a delay, we are excited to announce the start of the new Out There Badminton season! There are days that there will be no badminton. Please subscribe to the Out There Badminton Newsletter to ensure you receive the email updates.
Out There Badminton is exclusively for members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Season members may bring along one ally who does not identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, however, is a supporter of the community. We ask that everyone please respect these guidelines in order to maintain the character of the club.
Cost: $20 for the season for $5 per drop-in session.
Where: Gordon Bell High School (3 Borrowman Place). We will play in the upper-level gym. Enter the gym doors, which are located up the stairs facing Broadway.
Parking is available at the corner of Borrowman and Broadway. Enter the school using the doors facing Maryland Street, directly across from the Tim Horton’s located on the map shown here.

A $1 donation to Out There is requested.
A limited number of racquets are available for lending.
Participants will be asked to sign a waiver and acknowledge the Out There Badminton guidelines.

Billiards
Who: All levels
When: Every Wednesday evening from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
(Participants are welcome to come early for dinner before the games begin!)
Where: Flea Whiskeys (601 Erin Street)
Cost: The price of the table is divided by the number of players. Cost of any food/beverage is extra. Small change donations are collected to support Out There Winnipeg and the Rainbow Resource Centre.
