A first leg of the Nestawaya River Trail has opened at the Forks, and with the cooler temperatures forecast for the coming weeks, the trail is likely to be extended further along the river. Our first outing of the year will take place at the Forks this coming Saturday, January 4, at 1 p.m.

Meet me (Jeff) in front of the Travel Manitoba building. We'll go skating, then for a hot chocolate afterwards if there's interest. If you don't have skates, they can be rented at the Forks (www.theforks.com/shop/iceland-skate-rentals). Dress warmly!
