BOIS DES ESPIRIT WALK
Join Out There this Saturday, November 23rd @2pm as we go for a walk along the scenic Seine River as we explore the various carvings and wildlife that make up Boi des Espirit.
We will meet on the Royalwood Bridge (on the corner of Shorehill Drive and St. Anne's Road) beginning at 1:45pm and departing at 2pm sharp. We will wind our way along the river north towards John Bruce Road, before returning. This is an out-and-back trail with multiple side trails at our disposal.
Utilizing the side trails, this should be a walk of roughly 5km, taking us just over a hour.
Trail: A mix of paved, crushed gravel and dirt. This time of year should provide ideal, dry conditions.
Parking: Across St. Anne's Road from the bridge is a No Frills with a sizable parking lot.
Bus: The number 55 will take you to St. Anne's and Compark Road. It is less than a 5 minute walk south to the Royalwood Bridge.
Registration?: Not required. Simply meet us on the bridge.
Cost?: A loonie donation to Out There
Guests?: This is a 2SLGBTQIA+ event; guests should be community members or allies.
Doggos?: Provided they stay on leash and can match our pace, absolutley
