TRANSCONA TRAIL & BIORESERVE

The River Walk is Open!

Join Out There as we take a refreshing winter walk along the Transcona Trail this Sunday, February 23rd @1pm.
This trail heads north from Regent Ave. towards the secluded Transcona Bio reserve. Our walk will take us on a roughly 6km walk that includes a loop through the bio reserve before returning south back towards Regent. Expect a walk of 1.5 to 2 hours.

MEETING POINT: We will meet in the Tim Horton's at 1495 Regent Ave. starting at 12:45, before departing at 1pm sharp.
Parking: There is parking at the Tim Horton's. Failing that, there is a Brick just to the east.
Bus: The number 47 runs regularly in both directions. The stop will be Peguis East.
Registration: Not required for this walk. Simply meet us at the Tim Horton's at the correct time.
Cost: A loonie donation to Out There is requested.
Guests?: This is a 2SLQBTQIA+ event, so guests should be community members or allies.
Dogs?: Provided your dog stays on leash and can match our pace, absolutely.
